Belly Dance for Wellness (call 651-698-1404 to register)

Class Description: An ongoing class to get the body moving in a fun and healthy way! Dance to mesmerizing, soulful rhythms! Several dance movements and combinations incorporated in each class for fitness and well-being. Suitable for beginner to intermediate levels. Walk-ins welcome ($16.00 per session). Note: this is not a technique class.

Beginning Belly Dance (call 651-698-1404 to register)

Class Description: Fundamentals of belly dance ~ Learn and practice various belly dance movements and technique. This 8-week class breaks down the muscle mechanics of each movement. Class includes a warm up that strengthens the core and increases stamina, standing and traveling drills, short dance combinations and a relaxing cool down.

Join Shari Jeziorski, an acupuncturist practicing at HealthPoint and a talented dancer and an experienced dance instructor. In these fun, healthy dance classes,  Shari breaks down the muscle mechanics of each movement. Belly dance helps improve your joint flexibility, strengthen your core and and muscle function, increase stamina, encourages poise and confidence, improves your overall conditioning and health status, and generally help you feel good. Class includes a warm-up, standing and traveling drills, short dance combinations, and a relaxing cool down. We encourage you to check out Shari's class for its many health benefits.

These classes offer an effective way to promote your physical health and well-being. They are appropriate for all ages and fitness levels; no dance experience required.

Shari Jeziorski has been involved in Middle Eastern dance for ten years. She has studied with many reputable Middle Eastern dance and music teachers from around the world. She teaches regularly and performs as a solo dance artist in the Twin Cities. Shari is also a member of the Jawaahir Dance Company. As a dance instructor and performer, Shari is recognized for her graceful, yet dynamic, style. Shari is also a nationally board certified and licensed practitioner at HealthPoint Oriental Medicine where she provides health care services including acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapy.
