The following is a note is from a new, young mom who had just recently given birth to her first child, a health baby girl. She initially presented at HealthPoint with anxiety and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) with elevated blood sugar. She was treated with acupuncture for twelve sessions, with the last session approximately one week prior to delivery.

Hi, John!

Our baby daughter was born very early Saturday morning. She weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and is 19 inches long. I'm so happy and proud to say that it was a completely natural delivery. I really think having a natural birth was a healing experience for me after infertility and miscarriage, a way for me and my body to reconcile after having felt so betrayed by it. Harriet is very healthy; she and I are both doing really well.
