Shari is a graduate of the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with a master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is licensed with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and is board certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Education with extensive study in Psychology from Augsburg College in Minneapolis.

Shari became involved in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) after researching and utilizing a natural holistic approach to health maintenance and healing therapies. She is dedicated and passionate about informing others of the many health benefits of TCM.

Before studying acupuncture, Shari was a classroom elementary teacher in the Minneapolis public school system. She also enjoys teaching and studying dance and finds it an excellent way to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
